Killing Floor by Lee Child
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Frankly, I really wanted to like this series and the character. I felt the character and plot to be mind-numbing. Filled with too many cliché’s and you can see the twists from a mile away.
The organization of dialogues also felt strange, my reading speed went down in the beginning. It’s like you need to acclimatize to this style of writing. There sudden jumps in explanation logics. Oh, there were some more cliched motivational dialogues thrown around.
“You need infinite patience. No use fretting or worrying. You just wait. Doing nothing, thinking nothing, burning no energy. Then you burst into action. After an hour, five hours, a day, a week. Waiting is a skill like anything else.”
And Questions to ponder all your life.
“Like when people say they slept like a baby. Do they mean they slept well? Or do they mean they woke up every ten minutes, screaming? (view spoiler) ”
